This project involved the complete refurbishment of an existing traditional cottage, along with the extension and refurbishment of a previously constructed 1990s extension to the rear of the property. A careful selection of external materials helped in marking a clear delineation between the original cottage and the more recent works.

Contemporary Granny Flat Overlooking Lough Foyle, Co. Donegal

The contemporary granny flat project was designed to give the client a new independent living space comprising a Kitchen / Living / Dining area, 2 bedrooms & shower room, located within the family home gardens. The client stipulated that the new granny flat was to have a contemporary feel, with views out over the nearby Lough Foyle and ready access to the client's mature gardens, cultivated over the past 40 years.

Dwelling Buncrana Donegal

This rural dwelling was constructed in 2006. Whilst contemporary in feel, the dwelling makes strong reference to traditional dwelling typology. A narrow plan is utilised to maximise light & views, with many rooms having 3 different aspects and benefitting from light all through the daytime.

Extension & Refurbishment of 1980s Dormer Bungalow, Buncrana

Dublin Terrace Refurbishment

The project involved the renovation of a near derelict property in Dublin city. The use of the site was maximised (following the footprint of the original dwelling & its numerous extensions) and light was brought into the Kitchen / Living / Dining spaces using a small courtyard / lightwell feature.

Rossnowlagh Dwelling

This one and a half storey dwelling with panoramic views of the Atlantic was constructed on an elevated site in 2015. 

Donegal Dwelling Refurbishment

This dwelling was constructed in 2015 as a replacement for a 1950s family dwelling.
